About She’s A Sports Fan:

The concept of this blog started in a conversation with my sister. In Fall of 2011 there was a lot going on in the world of sports that I had a big opinion about, and I would always talk about it with my sister. Now, my sister is not into sports at all so I would always have to keep her informed. Then one day she suggested I write an informative blog for girls, and She’s A Sports Fan was born. She’s A Sports Fan is simply about sports, sports from a girls perspective. This blog is written to inform those who do not know much about sports and what is going on in the sports world. It is written in simple terms so that everyone can understand. I want to give girls and anyone else a place to go to find out about sports information that is easy to follow. Basically – it’s sports 101 for women! Whether on a date or simply talking to a sports fanatic, girls should be able to participate in conversations about sports without hesitation.

About the Sports Fan:

Hi! I’m Tamara. I may be small but I am a BIG sports fan. After attending college at Texas A&M, I moved to Dallas and became more connected to the wild and wonderful world of sports. Unlike most girly-girls who are solely into shopping and fashion, while I still like those things, my days are filled with the sounds of ESPN radio, Sport Center, local sports news, and even the sports section of the newspaper! I am a fan of all sports, appreciate all teams, but in my heart I will always be a #1 Mavs Fan For Life (MFFL).
